Director
I’m Laura Cusco, a passionate educator with nearly a decade of experience in early childhood education. I founded Unique Care Academy with one goal in mind: to inspire a lifelong love of learning in every child. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a director credential, as I continue my journey toward a master’s degree, I’m deeply committed to blending knowledge with heart in everything I do.
At Unique Care Academy, I’ve created a nurturing, play-based environment where children can explore, imagine, and grow. My vision is simple but powerful: to offer a joyful space where each child can discover their unique spark.
I design programs that are grounded in research and centered on each child’s individual needs. Through hands-on learning and purposeful play, we help children build curiosity, confidence, and creativity. I believe that the best learning happens when children feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
Every day at Unique Care Academy, we laugh, learn, and build strong foundations for life—together. Watching children grow into themselves and unlock their limitless potential is the most rewarding part of what I do.

We’re proud to offer a diverse range of programs, including preschool, after-school care, summer camps, and school break programs, all designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. Our team integrates enriching activities like music, physical education, and creative exploration, while participating in trusted initiatives such as Early Childhood Education (ELC), Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK), and Step Up For Students.
